Republicans quoting Dr. Martin Luther King’s ‘content of their character’ speech excerpt out of context to support their policies is slammed by his daughter Dr. Bernice King, CEO of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. Dr. Bernice King tells them, ‘Do not take excerpts from my father. Study him holistically… For people to misappropriate him this way is beyond insulting.’
